Chief Marshal Robert "Bob" Sulkowski started with the Long Beach Police Department in July of 1982. He was promoted to Chief Deputy in October of 1988. He has taken numerous training classes specializing in Crime Scene Investigation and Evidence collection and Photography. He has received over ten Meritorious service awards from the Department. He was promoted to Chief Marshal after the untimely death of Chief Jim Kautz in 1997. His most memorable service was assisting in the delivery of a baby in 1987. He has also worked for the Town of Michiana Shores for over twenty years as a Captain with the Michiana Shores Volunteer Fire Department and the Street Commissioner. His hobbies include golf, coaching children's sports and reading.

Chief Deputy Todd A. Bullis was hired by the Long Beach Police Department in November of 1978. He graduated from ILEA class 79-54. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Deputy in January 1998. He was a special instructor at ILEA for two years. His training includes specialization in burglary, robbery, drug enforcement, child and sexual abuse, psychic phenomena, rape investigation and sex crimes, pathology and death investigation, skeletal reconstruction, drug and narcotic interdiction, photography and the Reid school for Interview and Interrogation. He is a Certified Chemical Test operator as well as a certified SCUBA diver.

Deputy Marshal Michael Chastain has twenty-five years of law enforcement experience. He began his career with the Trail Creek Police Department in November of 1976 and remained there for twelve years. He held the ranks of Deputy Marshal, Sergeant and Chief Marshal. He left Trail Creek to join the Long Beach Police Department full-time in August of 1988. Mike had worked part-time with the Department since 1981. He felt that he was coming home to the town where he had grown up and the Department he had grown up around. He received his Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Vincennes in 1975. He is also a level III Traffic Crash Technician. He currently oversees the Department dispatcher program and the Marine and ATV programs, which he enjoys. He is currently assigned as a patrol officer serving the community and department he has always cared about.

Deputy Marshal James Schooley graduated from class 98-135 at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in December of 1998. He received the Academic Achievement Award for his graduating class. He was appointed as a full-time Officer in December of 1997 following the death of Chief Marshal James Kautz. Jim had been a dispatcher with the Department since 1992. He joined the Reserve Officer program in 1993. He had been a dispatcher with LaPorte County E-911 since September of 1991. In addition to training at ILEA Jim has received certification as a Certified Chemical Test operator and attended the Reid school for Interview and Interrogation. Jim took over as handler for K9 "Cody" in August 2005. He was certified as a patrol/narcotics K9 handler at Midwest K9 Training in Lakeville, IN. His hobbies include golf and reading.

Deputy Marshal Tobin Babcock began his career in law enforcement with the LaPorte County Sheriff's Office in January 1998. He graduated from the 150th class of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. While at the Sheriff's Office he served as a member of the Emergency Response Team (SWAT), as well as participating in Operation Pull Over, and the Indiana Governor's Taskforce on Impaired Driving. He also served on a part-time basis with the Trail Creek Police Department before joining the Long Beach Police Department in July 2005. He is a certified shotgun instructor through Singleton International, a factory certified Benelli armorer, and a certified MP5, Colt SMG, and Benelli operator as well as being a certified chemical breath test operator through the Indiana University Department of Toxicology. He is trained in standardized field sobriety testing (SFST) and the Reid technique of interview and interrogation.
