Address Identification

Greetings Long Beach Homeowners:

As your new Police Chief I have been out driving the Town daily and I have noticed some homes are not properly identified with their address number. Town ordinance requires that all homes and buildings shall  display the house numbers in the vicinity of the front door. Additionally, the numbers shall not be less than four inches in height. Please assist your emergency first responders from both the Police and Fire Departments with locating your home by assuring your house numbers are properly displayed on both your home and mailbox. Below you will find an example of our request and the specific ordinance definition. Thank you so very much for your assistance with this request.
